I’m really proud of what we have created with the apartment blocks. They are chic, contemporary and yet practical with effective living spaces for the way many people live their lives today.
Initially we carried out the site clearance and infrastructure works, but then circumstances changed. The original developer was unable to fulfil their obligations to complete what is a sizeable development with associated amenities. We were enthusiastic to take the opportunity to complete the development.
We had already developed a relationship with Premier Guarantee and we chose to test this through 15 homes at Harpers Chase, part of the Little Stanion development. They offered us a warranty product and a service solution, especially around their technical ability, that met our circumstances.
I have always had a great working relationship with JME. When I arrive on site I don’t feel like I am a traffic warden that everybody dreads seeing! I feel I am part of the team and that’s how I conduct myself on all the sites I visit. JME want to do a good job they are about building a great product. They have a good reputation and they want to keep it that way. This in turn makes my job so much easier.
At first we just had their warranty but they explored building control for us too. We’ve found that having both from Premier Guarantee was an excellent decision for us, and has made the whole experience seamless.
As well as visits every month we can communicate with them through the customer extranet. They respond quickly to technical queries and are always available at the end of the phone.
Premier Guarantee has worked with us since the design stages, which was very helpful as some of the foundation work was challenging, involving nearly 100 piles. There was a lot of back and forth as Premier Guarantee helped advise us. Even though they have a comprehensive technical manual there are always unique situations where decisions have to be made and they are always willing to help us with detail that may be beyond the scope of their manual.
