“This was a challenging £100m luxury apartment and town house project with many unusual details to consider. These included basement parking, basement gym, basement swimming pool, a buried roof to the basement going below the town house car parking, zero falls flat roofs, precast concrete cladding, rockwool composite cladding as a backing for open mesh screen cladding to the block cores, some brickwork façade at low level, curtain wall areas with balconies protruding through and high and low terraces.
"Inside the building it also had some features that I was not used to, such as fabric ceilings and a new wall system used in the basement to separate out the spaces.
"This building definitely kept me busy and on my toes for a few years and I learnt a lot in working on the project.
"Russells the builders did a good job considering the complexities. I saw it on the TV last week and was proud to show my family that I had worked on that project. It is an impressive building now it is finished.”
“While working with Adam and his colleagues we were able to witness the thoroughness and diligence Adam showed, in adhering to the Premier Guarantee requirements. He has a detailed knowledge of what is required to meet these standards. Through constant communication with Adam and Luke we were able to collaboratively work towards the joint goal of making sure the project was built to the correct standard.
“I am most proud of the fact that despite the pandemic we achieved practical completion on time, the client is delighted with the end product and that the building is almost fully occupied.”
